My traditional candy cane cinnamon sugar loaf with hazelnuts.

Shortbread cookies with chocolate drizzle.

Blackberry yummies.  Don’t know what they’re called and I’ve never made them before!

The second sweet thing: Elsie coming up to me and cupping her hand over my ear to whisper, “Can I open Christmas now?”
